Christopher Castello, O.D.
Christopher Castello, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in 1997 and earned his Bachelor of Science from Florida Atlantic University in 1992. He is a Board-Certified Optometric Physician specializing in treating and managing ocular diseases. Dr. Castello also performs routine eye exams, including contact lens fittings.
Dr. Castello was the President of the Palm Beach County Optometric Association from 2006-2007. He also served as an adjunct clinical professor for Nova Southeastern College of Optometry in Davie, Florida, for four years.
Dr. Castello always wanted to help people in the medical field somehow. When he first went with his father to an eye doctor appointment because of his poor vision, he realized optometry was the specialty field he was looking for. He says it is a great feeling to help someone see better almost instantly and to develop a relationship with them for a long time. Optometry has been challenging, rewarding, and precisely what he was hoping for in a career.
When Dr. Castello is not seeing patients or working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family, traveling, doing woodworking, and playing golf.
