Meet Dr. Michelle Cevallos (Ocala, FL)

Michelle Cevallos, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in 2007 where she also earned her Bachelor of Science in Vision Science. She graduated with Honors in Cornea and Contact Lens Clinic and in Primary Care. She completed her externship rotation in geriatric care and post-surgical management at Braverman Eye Center in Hallandale Beach, Florida.

Dr. Cevallos specializes in dry eye/ocular surface management, specialty contact lens fittings, ocular disease management and treatment, and pre/post-operative LASIK management. Throughout her career, Dr. Cevallos has trained and worked alongside leaders in the fields of cornea, LASIK, and general ophthalmology.

Dr. Cevallos is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Florida Optometric Association, and the North Central Florida Optometric Society. She has also participated in service trips to Peru and Trinidad for Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH), an organization providing comprehensive eye care to impoverished communities. She is also fluent in Spanish.

When Dr. Cevallos is not treating patients, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and camping with her husband, daughter, and son.
